After completing your final quiz you will be required to print your final exam and take it to a local Notary Public of your choice.
The Notary Public will verify your identity with a State I.D., Driver License, or Passport. You will take the test in their office have it stamped by the Notary and you will FAX or mail your answers to our office for scoring.
You will be notified of your results by e-mail. You must pass with a score of 80% to receive your completion certificate by mail. Sign the completion certificate and send it to your courthouse to arrive prior to your due date.
6) Are there any hidden fees that I should know about?
No, there is only one flat fee. The only additional charges are optional services such as cert verify service, copy of completion certificate, or rush services. (more on those below)
7) How does the Coast2Coast Traffic School test trial work?
The first two chapters are available free of charge. If you wish to continue after that you will be prompted to pay for the course in order to complete the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School.
8) Do I need to complete the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School course within a certain amount of time after I sign up?
Yes, customers must complete the traffic school course before the due date issued to them in order to receive credit for the course.
9) Is my Traffic School / Defensive Driving School completion certificate due on the due date or do I just need to finish the course by that date?
Your Traffic School / Defensive Driving School completion certificate is due on the due date.
We recommend that you complete the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School course at least 2 to 3 days before your due date. If you are faced with less time, you may want to contact the entity that issued the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School (courthouse, insurance company, DMV) and request an extension.
10) My Traffic School / Defensive Driving School certificate is due today. Can I still take your course?
Yes, you can still take our course although we strongly suggest that you call for an extension from your courthouse. We cannot give you an extension!
11) How do I get an extension for my Traffic School / Defensive Driving School?
Call your court. Most courts allow a one time 30 day extension over the phone.
12) How long does it take to complete the course?
The required course time varies by State. Because we allow you to take the course at your leisure, the time to complete our course varies by student. The average time including chapters, quizzes and our final exam are as follows.
For California: 6-8 Hours
For Nevada: 5 Hours
For Delaware: 3-6 Hours
For North Dakota: 6-8 Hours
13) I travel a lot. Can I use any computer to access your Traffic School / Defensive Driving School?
Yes, you can use any computer anywhere in the world that can be connected to the internet.
14) Is it safe to use my credit card over the internet?
Yes. Our site is secured by Thawte a world renowned encryption service.
15) How long does it take for my Traffic School / Defensive Driving School certificate to get delivered?
All courses completed before 9:00am will have completion ertificates processed same business day (weekends and holidays excluded). It takes the courts about one to two weeks to process and update their system once they receive the completion certificate.
You should always follow up with the court to insure your ticket has been cleared. You may also select our CertVerify Service and we will do the follow up for you. (see below)
16) Will your CertVerify service contact my courthouse to verify they have received my certificate, so I don't have to?
Yes, we are the first Traffic School / Defensive Driving School to offer this service, for only a $10.00 service fee, we will verify that the court has received your certificate of completion and has dismissed your case. Upon verification we will notify you by email.

17) How much is Rush Delivery?
Rush Processing costs $25.00 for next day service / rush processing service and $15.00
for Second Day Service/Rush Processing Service.
You can choose rush delivery when it’s time to pay, or call us to arrange it.
You must finish your course before 9am pacific time to qualify for next day delivery.
18) I am a busy person. Do I have to complete the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School course in one sitting?
No, that is what makes our program so popular. You can log in and log out as many times as you want.
19) What If I get Interrupted and I can not finish?
Our system will automatically save your work after every quiz. This enables you to proceed at your own pace.
20) What is the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School course like? Is it hard?
The course contains 10 short, easy-to-read chapters. Each chapter is followed by a short 5 multiple choice / true or false question quiz. When the quiz is passed, you automatically move to the next chapter.
Since the chapters are short and well organized, you must pass the quizzes with a score of a 100%. Otherwise you will have to take the quiz over again until you pass.
We stress the importance of the quizzes because alot of the same questions will be on the final!
After you complete all 10 chapters, you will be given a final exam with 25 to 50 multiple choice /
true or false questions depending on the state or county you selected. You only need to pass the
final exam with 80% correct. Rest assured that the questions are quite simple.
Remember, all quizzes and the final exam Can be re-taken as many times as necessary free of charge.
21) What if I need help?
We are always here to help you! You can reach us by e-mail or phone monday through friday. We prefer contact by e-mail as this allows us to pull your records and answer your questions without keeping you on hold while we research your file. If you prefer to call, we are standing by, understand that there may be a short delay while we search your records. Please view our contacts page for our contact information.
22) I received another ticket. How often can I take Traffic School / Defensive Driving School?
Rules vary by the state and county where you received your ticket. Call the court where your ticket was assigned if you are not sure.
23) I already paid the court money. Do I have to pay the Traffic School / Defensive Driving School as well? ?
Each court charges a fee to allow you to attend a Traffic School / Defensive Driving School or home study program, this is a separate fee from our or any other schools fee. All traffic schools including classroom, home study, and internet courses will charge separate additional fees.
If you do not pay the fee to the court they will not accept your certificate of completion from us!
24) Are you affiliated with the court?
As an independently owned and operated entity, we have no affiliations with the courts or any government agency, and therefore cannot impose liability upon them. The courts and government entities cannot be held liable for any actions of Coast2Coast Traffic School.com.
25) What if I can not pass your Traffic School / Defensive Driving School course:
We are confident you will pass our course, we allow unlimited retakes on all quizzes and the final exam until a passing grade has been achieved.
